Gain peace of mind knowing you hired the right professional the first time. A quality assurance inspector from Duke Energy will thoroughly inspect the workmanship, validate the efficiency ratings of the product, ensure code compliance and verify that the job site is left clean. We’re here for you.
What we will inspect
- Validation that the efficiency ratings as stated per ENERGY STAR® or Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) are met
- Products are properly installed and working as intended by manufacturer
- Diagnostic evaluation for reduced duct leakage
- Diagnostic evaluation for whole home air leakage

The contractors we refer are evaluated on each inspection and monitored monthly as a part of their overall performance.

Not every job is inspected, but all submissions are subject to a possible on-site inspection. Duke Energy randomly selects jobs for a quality assurance inspection to ensure our Find It Duke contractors are meeting our requirements as well as your expectations. If your job is selected, you may be contacted by a Duke Energy representative to schedule an on-site visit to view your new installation to verify. This process could take a couple of weeks.

This can vary by type of job and the necessary improvements that need to be made. Typically this is addressed as a priority and can be remedied within a couple of weeks.

Duke Energy does not charge any additional fees for quality assurance inspections. We provide these inspections so you can have peace of mind to know your Find It Duke pro is performing quality services.

Similar to school grades, our Find It Duke pros must maintain a 95% rating (grade A) or higher.
